Sales Director for Commercial Growth

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead our commercial growth efforts in the sport accounts channel. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving sustainable and profitable market share growth while positioning all adidas brands through wholesale distribution channels.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement account management strategies to create an efficient sport account sales team.
- Review, challenge, and sign off on joint business plans with relevant accounts.
- Lead yearly and long-term strategic business planning for sport accounts, determining sales, gross-profit plans, and implementing marketing strategies.
- Create a long-term commercial excellence strategy for the sales channel, aligning with global and regional brand strategies.
- Translate global commercial strategies into functional targets for the sport accounts channel sales and measure performance on key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with digital managers to prioritize digital acceleration initiatives and achieve common objectives.
- Work closely with other channels and departments to realize global strategic objectives.
- Ensure brand presentation across online and offline touchpoints aligns with brand strategy.
- Monitor and track performance, anticipating trends, and proactively managing changes.
- Coordinate information flow between East WHS and DTC channels, fostering collaboration and maximizing business potential.
- Drive monthly sales forecasting processes in line with regional business planning.
- Analyze customer/business segments to identify trends, resolve problems, and correct procedural errors.
- Measure and report sell-through, securing suitable weeks-of-stock levels to maximize full-price sell-outs.
- Set short-, mid-, and long-term business targets and guidelines for direct reports.
- Lead cross-functional projects/processes for Zone East.
- Ensure effective cost monitoring and control for all cost centers.
- Manage, recruit for, and develop the team to achieve relevant targets.
- Staff suitable persons in direct report positions, inspiring a performance culture within the team.
- Set personal objectives, targets, and guidelines for direct reports, managing key talents' career succession planning.
